About Jack Goode
Jack Goode's Service and Sacrifice
Jack D. Goode made the ultimate sacrifice and laid down his life for his country. During a conflict in the Vietnam War, Jack and his comrades came under heavy fire. In the process, Jack was wounded badly and did not survive. Jack helped save many lives of his fellow soldiers by giving the enemy a relentless barrage of heavy gunfire.

In the Memory of Jack Goode
Jack Goode's brother and the owner of the Uptown Cafe, is keeping his memories alive by the changing the name to, "Jackie B. Goode's Uptown Cafe and Dinner Theater" in his honor.
Having live entertainment on a stage inside the cafe reminds of the fact that before joining the US Armed Forces, Jack Goode was a musician and songwriter.
